The first time I saw it, I was in awe. It’s crystal clear waters and the way the sun reflects off of them is breathtaking. You can feel that energy when you’re there because of how special it is- for me, it feels like home. For most people who visit this site, they find themselves inspired by the natural beauty around them and some even say that they found their peace here or an inner calmness. There are many things to see here but my favourite would have to be glancing through the water at all those beautiful colours reflecting back on top of each other- so subtle yet so vibrant at the same time!
Seljalandsfoss is a waterfall in the South Coast of Iceland. It is part of Seljalands River, which drops about 60 meters from the cliff into a beautiful canyon below. The river and its smaller tributaries used to flow all the way down to Þingvellir National Park before they were diverted through tunnels as part of an irrigation system built by settlers in 1891. Seljalandfoss has been drawing visitors since it was first discovered by tourists in 1874; this year I visited for myself and fell under its spell.
If you’re looking for the most beautiful places on earth, consider Fraser island. This is one of Australia’s best kept secrets and has been attracting tourists from all over the world since it was discovered. After a short boat ride to the island, visitors will be greeted with an uninterrupted view of pristine beaches that are so white they look like snow banks. They are surrounded by tropical rainforest which creates a natural habitat for an array of wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and many other species. There is also some excellent fishing opportunities if you’re up for trying your luck! Just take care when traveling through this area as there can be sudden storms at any time during the year so always stay alert!
Trans catalina trail
I had heard of the Trans Catalina Trail before but I didn’t know what it was. I thought that it might have something to do with hiking or biking, and I’m not really into either one. But when my best friend invited me to go on a backpacking trip with her, I knew this was an opportunity that couldn’t be missed. As she explained more about the trail, which is actually a road that runs across the island of Catalina – you can drive your car too! – she kept saying how beautiful it would be and all the things we could see along our way.
Keukenhof tulip fields
Have you ever seen a field of beautiful tulips? If not, I would recommend checking out the Keukenhof tulip fields in Holland. This is one of my favorite places on earth because it has so many gorgeous flowers that are just waiting to be admired. It’s really easy to get here by train or car and there are plenty of hotels and restaurants nearby if you’re planning on staying overnight. The best time to visit is usually during the Spring months when the tulips are at their peak, but they also have some every year for Autumn which is stunning as well! You can’t go wrong with this place no matter what season it is – makes sure to bring your camera for some memorable shots while you’re traveling through Europe.
